Analisa keseimbangan Lintasan dengan Metode Killbridge Wester dan Helgeson Birnie (Studi Kasus : Line Welding PT. Suzuki Indomobil Motor Plant Tambun II)

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan studi kasus yang dilakukan pada Line Welding PT. Suzuki Indomobil Motor Plant Tambun II. Hasil dari analisis efisiensi lini menunjukkan bahwa lini rear floor YR9 memiliki efisiensi paling rendah yaitu 75,16 %. Oleh karena itu, peneliti melakukan analisa pada lini rear floor YR9 dengan metode Line Balancing. Peneliti melakukan Analisa perbaikan lini dengan dua metode yaitu Killbridge Wester dan Hegelson Birnie dengan menggunakan Cycle Time (CT) = 20,09 menit dan CT=19 menit untuk line efficiency, balance delay, dan smoothness index. Berdasarkan analisis, metode Hegelson Birnie dengan CT= 19 menit menghasilkan nilai line efficiency yang terbaik yaitu sebesar 94,22%, nilai balance delay sebesar 5,70%, dan nilai smoothness index sebesar 1,32.
